Message from the Chief, Dr. Rachel Shane: "We are honored that the Department of Nonprofit DefenseSM selected us to launch the MasterMinds Agency. Our nemesis, NO-PLAN (National Organization for Poor Leadership Among Nonprofits), has precipitated much damage in the infrastructure of many nonprofits across America. Our team is prepared to help countervail these forces and trends. The Department informed me that several factors led to my appointment as Chief‚ including a Doctorate of Philosophy in Cultural Policy and Arts Administration through the Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Drexel University. I have been working in the field for over a decade, with a current operative identity as Professor of Arts Administration at Savannah College of Art and Design. I am proud of the knowledge that our team represents and passionate about combining our resources for the good of nonprofit missions everywhere."

Words from the Commissioner, John Williams: "We have spent weeks working with scientists in our Communications Lab learning how to use the devices they have crafted to support the work of MasterMinds. I understand, for example, that my fountain pen serves over two dozen purposes. Having recently lost the instruction manual, I've decided to reserve it for writing proposals and documents‚ and as an occasional bookmark in our Research Library. Our training videos and missions are similar to the work I completed in my previous tenures as fundraising Director at AFS Intercultural Programs and the Hippodrome State Theatre. As Commissioner I vow, as always, to maintain the Code of Ethics to which all good agents in our field abide."
